Our History
From 2018-2019 the Shakespeare Troupe toured schools throughout South and Central Florida with one-hour productions of The Tragedy of Romeo & Juliet and A Midsummer’s Night Dream. With a double cast of seven actors, STI performed dozens of school shows in full Elizabethan or contemporary costumes with a mobile set and safety props.

Right after each performance Troupe actors engaged with students and teachers on stage and in classrooms; teaching acting skills, directing theatre games, and answering questions. During the one-year tour, Shakespeare Troupe reached 10,000 students from elementary through high school grades.
Since then, STI has performed in many more schools, adult homes, facilities for the disabled or economically challenged, and theaters in South Florida...several times over.
